Hurting!!

Oh my goodness! Taking so much time of is really not a good idea!! My hips, my feet, my knees…..hurt!! I have to get a new pair of running shoes too. These Nikes are not what’s up. I just got these too. I shouldn’t be hurting like this after a run though. My chest felt fine the entire time. If my body wasn’t so sore I could have kept running. Welcome Spring!!!

Spring is here and I’m ready to get outdoors. It was such a beautiful day. Surprisingly I was able to run (jog) more than I expected to be able too. It’s really been a while since I’ve been out. Another lovely day for a run!

It was so nice out today. Still a little warm, but there was a very nice breeze. I realize that if I’m not completely focused that my pace slows. I was trying to keep up with a guy that was running the same trail that I was on. I did good for the mile. Then I just walked the rest. While that was nice, I still need to do what I can do. First Nike + Run!

So thankful for the rain!!! It cooled it down immensely! I was ready to get back out there and run. Now I just need to get the Nike + app to sync correctly! I did a about 3.44 miles today and it claims that I burned 426 calories. Better than nothing.  Read More →


I’m a Gymnast!!

Of course that is an overstatement! I did go to an adult gymnastics class though. It was pretty fun. I haven’t done any tumbling since I was a kid. I didn’t realize how much of a workout it would be.
